Soaper Stars – History & Background
In 2012, two former school friends from Perth collaborated and created a concept – a premium branded, well managed, professional and conveniently located vehicle wash in Perth – Soaper Stars was born!
Utilising existing business experience, the Soaper Stars team gained information from networking within the motor trade industry and engaging with businesses and individuals all over Scotland and the North of England.
In 2013, Soaper Stars won the category of Best New Business in the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce Star Awards. This was a very welcome award for the team and it was encouraging that all the hard work and effort had been recognised.
The future of Soaper Stars is an exciting one. Due to continued growth and aspirational goals, the business has gone from a trading partnership to a limited company. The brand is now officially trademarked and Soaper Stars has also invested in a new electronic till system, allowing customers to pay by debit or credit card and receive a VAT receipt if required.
